Balance Page
The Balance page allows users to:
- View their transaction history across all ledgers
- Pay off their balance using a credit/debit card or bank account
- Setup a payment plan to pay their balance over time
Viewing Transactions
Members can review their entire transaction history, which includes dues, fines, payments, and more. The transaction list is divided into different ledgers (e.g., housing, social), and members can switch between ledgers by clicking on the ledger's name.
Paying Balance
Members can settle their balance with a debit/credit card or bank account.
Balance Overview
The balance component provides a clear view of the member's total outstanding balance. Members can click "Make Payment" to initiate the payment process. Members are also given a shareable payment link which allows a third party, such as parents, to pay the member's balance.
Payment Process
- Setting the Ledger Amounts
When making a payment, members are first asked to specify the payment amount on each ledger (e.g., housing, social).
- Selecting a Payment Method
Members can select an existing payment method or add a new one. Debit and credit cards incur a 3% + $0.30 convenience fee. For ACH payments, the convenience fee is 0.08%, capped at $5.
- Confirming the Payment
Before submitting, members will see a summary of the payment, including the base amount, convenience fee, and total. After reviewing, they can click "Submit" to complete the transaction.
