Register your chapter

The chapter officer who will manage your chapter's money fills out the application at app.mygreek.us/registration. Once it's approved, you can log in, add members and start billing.

Have these ready:

• Your phone, to get a sign-in code.
• Your home address, legal name and date of birth.
• Your Social Security Number. It's used only to verify your identity. The form says: "This information is only used for identity verification and not stored permanently."
• Your chapter's EIN (Tax Number) and legal name, exactly as the IRS has them.
• Your chapter's business address and website or Instagram profile URL.
• The routing and account numbers of the bank account where your chapter will receive payments.
• Your chapter's by-laws, if you aren't the President or Treasurer. The form warns: "You may be required to upload by-laws showing your position has access to control funds for the chapter."

Your progress is saved each time you select Next, so you can leave and come back. Steps already filled in for you are skipped.

1. Phone Verification: enter your phone number and the code we text you.
2. Your Name: use your legal name. It's used to verify your identity.
3. Email Address.
4. Your Role: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Chapter Advisor or Other.
5. Home Address.
6. Chapter Info: pick your organization and your school.
7. Tax Info: your chapter's EIN.
8. Legal Info: your chapter's legal name.
9. Chapter Address: your chapter's business address.
10. Chapter Website: your website or Instagram profile URL.
11. Dues Information: the Average Payment and Number of Dues Paying Members.
12. Payout Account: enter the business name on the account, routing number and account number, then select Save Bank Account. This is where your chapter's payments will be deposited.
13. Identity Verification: your SSN and date of birth.

15. Review & Submit: check your answers and select Submit.

What happens nextCopy Anchor Link

After you submit, going back to app.mygreek.us/registration shows your Application Status:

• Submitted: "Your application has been submitted! Applications are typically verified within 1-2 business days." While you wait, start gathering your members' names, emails, phone numbers, parent or guardian contact info, and groups (for example, new members and executive board). If review takes more than 2 business days, we email you that it's still in progress.
• Under review: "Your application is under review." We're checking information you sent; there's nothing for you to do yet.
• Action Required: we need more information. See the next section.
• Approved: "Your account is ready! Please log in to get started." We let you know by email and text. Then follow Get started with MyGreek.
• Not approved: "Your application could not be approved. Please contact support at support@mygreek.us for assistance."

When your application says Action RequiredCopy Anchor Link

Sometimes our payment processor needs more before it can approve your chapter. We email and text you, and the Application Status page lists each item we need. Common requests:

• A document to upload, such as your by-laws. Upload a PDF, JPG or PNG. It then shows Pending Staff Review until our team checks it. If we can't accept it, we email you the reason and ask for a new one.
• Identity verification: select Complete Identity Verification and follow the steps. After that, your application is reviewed automatically.
• A detail to correct, such as your name, address, SSN, date of birth or bank account.

Each item shows Submitted once it's done. When every item is done, your application goes back into review. We send reminders while items are still open.

I uploaded my documents a week ago and haven't heard anything. What should I do?Copy Anchor Link

Email support@mygreek.us with your chapter's name and the email you registered with. First, open app.mygreek.us/registration to check your status. A new item may be waiting, or your upload may still show Pending Staff Review. Our processor sometimes asks for something new after reviewing an upload, so it's worth contacting us if you've been waiting longer than a few business days.

How long does approval take?Copy Anchor Link

The app says applications "are typically verified within 1-2 business days." If we ask for more information, it takes longer, depending on how quickly the requested items are sent and reviewed.

Can I connect my bank with Plaid during registration?Copy Anchor Link

No. Registration asks for your routing and account numbers. You can connect bank accounts with Plaid later, for budgeting.
