Plans
Set up a payment plan
Enroll in a plan your chapter offers or propose your own schedule, on the web app, mobile app or pay.mygreek.us.
Members can set up a payment plan in the MyGreek web or mobile app. Parents and others paying for a member set one up at pay.mygreek.us. You save a card or bank account for the scheduled payments. Nothing is charged when you set up the plan.
Before you start
- The charge must still have a balance and not already be on an approved plan.
- Your chapter decides which plans are offered. If you don't see a plan option for a charge, your chapter doesn't offer one for it.
- Read How payment plans work for approval and timing.
Steps in the web app
- Go to My Balance. On the Payment Plans card, select Enroll in Payment Plan (shown when your chapter offers pre-set plans) or Propose Payment Plan.
- To use a pre-set plan, pick it, choose a payment method, then select Confirm & Enroll. To build your own schedule instead, select Propose Custom Plan.
- For a custom plan, pick the charge or charges. Enter the amount per payment, how often to pay and the start date. The earliest start date is tomorrow.
- Review the schedule. You can edit the dates and amounts, but they must add up to your balance.
- Choose a payment method and confirm.
Steps in the mobile app
- On Home, tap Set Up Payment Plan. You can also open the Plans tab and tap Set Up Payment Plan.
- Pick a pre-set plan, or tap Propose Custom Plan to build your own.
- Choose a payment method and confirm. Apple Pay can't be used for plan payments.
Steps for parents on pay.mygreek.us
- Go to pay.mygreek.us and enter the member's code.
- Select Set up a payment plan. You'll log in with a code sent to your phone. You can't set up a plan as a guest.
- Pick a plan the chapter offers, or select Set up a custom plan and enter your schedule.
- Choose a payment method, then select Confirm & Enroll (pre-set plan) or Submit Plan (custom plan).
If the site says it can't find an account, see No account found.
What happens next
- Pre-set plan: it's approved right away, and you get a "Payment Plan Confirmed" email.
- Custom plan: you see Payment plan approved! or Payment plan submitted for approval! If it needs review, your treasurer is emailed, and you're emailed when they approve or reject it.
- A plan that isn't approved before its first payment date expires that morning, and nothing is charged.
- The first payment is taken on the morning of the first payment date.
Common questions
Can I change the schedule after the plan is approved?
No. Cancel the plan and set up a new one. See Cancel a payment plan.
I already proposed a plan. Can I propose a different one?
Yes. While your plan is still waiting for approval, a new plan for the same charge replaces it.
Can one plan cover more than one charge?
Yes. Select several charges, or pick a pre-set plan that covers them. They share one schedule and one payment method.
