Pay for a member as a parent or family member
Pay a member's dues on pay.mygreek.us with their member code. You don't need a MyGreek account.
Parents, family and anyone else can pay a member's charges on pay.mygreek.us. You don't need a MyGreek account; you only need the member's 6-character member code or their payment link.
Before you start
Get the member's payment link or code. It looks like pay.mygreek.us/ABC123. The member can copy it from My Balance in the MyGreek web app with Share (on a phone: Share Payment Link). The link is also in the bills and reminders the chapter sends to the member and their contacts.
Steps
- Open the payment link, or go to pay.mygreek.us and enter the code under Enter member code.
- You see the member's balance. Select Continue to payment.
- On Continue with phone number, either enter your phone number and the 6-digit code we text you, or select Continue as Guest. A guest enters a first name, last name and email for the receipt.
- Select the charges to pay. With one charge selected, you can enter a smaller amount to pay part of it.
- Enter a card, connect a bank account, or choose Apple Pay, then select Continue.
- Check the Convenience Fee and Total, then select Confirm Secure Payment.
Logging in with your phone saves your card for next time and lets you set up a payment plan. Guests can pay, but can't set up a plan.
Get bills for this member
On the confirm screen, Notify me of future charges for (the member's name) is checked by default. Leave it checked and your email is added as a contact for the member. Contacts get the member's bills and reminders. A member can also add you as a parent contact when they first log in to MyGreek, or the treasurer can add you (see Add parent contacts).
Once you're a contact, log in at the MyGreek web app with that email or phone number, or at pay.mygreek.us with that phone number. You'll see You're listed as a contact for: with a one-tap link to each member you pay for.
What happens next
- You get an email confirming the payment, with a receipt attached for card payments and bank payments.
- The member gets an email saying you paid.
- Bank payments are sent to your bank by the next business day and can't be canceled after you confirm.
Common questions
Can I set up a payment plan for my son or daughter?
Yes. Select Set up a payment plan on the balance screen and log in with your phone number. See Propose a payment plan.
Why can't I pay everything at once?
Each chapter has a maximum amount per payment, and some charges are paid to a different account and must be paid separately. The screen tells you which. Make a second payment for the rest.
It says "Account not found" when I enter the code.
The code doesn't match a member whose chapter takes payments through MyGreek. Codes are 6 letters and numbers; check the code with the member or their treasurer.
